Friday 17th February 2006

As the Old Blowers drift into Edinburgh from the four corners of the globe we will be welcoming them in true EUWB style: dirty pints all round! No, only joking. More like a quiet wee jar in a local watering hole.

9pm at the Southsider (3-7 West Richmond St, round the corner from Tesco)

Saturday 18th February 2006

Scratch Rehearsal:  1.30pm - 4.30pm

This unique rehearsal will be held in the Reid Hall. It will involve current members and as many previous ones as possible. Old Blowers everywhere will be dusting off their instruments in anticipation of a chance to show the youngsters how things are done!

Pre-dinner pint:  6.00pm - 7.00pm

While the ladies do their hair everyone else can enjoy a pre-dinner drink before the festivities kick off.

Pleasance Bar, 60 Pleasance (next to sports centre)

Black Tie Ball:  7.00pm - 1.00am

The main event of the weekend! Our fabulous Black Tie Ball is being held in the Holyrood Hotel, (81 Holyrood Rd, Edinburgh). Complete with champagne reception, three course dinner, and, of course, a chance to strut your stuff along to local ceilidh band Canongate Cadjers! To round the evening off in style there will be a disco from 12am until closing. After that who knows...!

Breakfast:  10.30am, Native State, 32 Potterrow (opposite Teviot)

Greasy breakfast! Get that hangover cure in quickly before the afternoon's carnage starts!

Discount if you order before 11am so don't be late (or Mel will impose her potato scone penalty)!

Beerienteering:  1.00pm, Native State

A special 25th edition of the classic EUWB social event! This scavenger hunt/pub crawl hybrid has grown to legendary status, and is not to be missed!
